The History exam in March is on The Second World War. It is a source based question and you will need to know and use the templates you have been given and taught on the 4 questions. You will need to know the content on the Second World War. Obviously you will use your text book, exercise book and workbook. The vle has all the information you need as well.

You can write up any queries or issues you have on the work here and we can respond to your points and support each other.

Your task is to read pages 2 to 7 of the booklet entitled The Cold War:an introduction and then give your views on the following questions. I want each of you to write your views on the questions and respond to what the group write up.

The discussion points are;

1. Define what you understand by the term ‘Cold War’.

2. Explain when and why you believe the Cold War started?

Activity week 2008 - A real success

Students from years 7,8 and 9 have all been involved in a lot of different activities this week.

From The Emirates to Germany, Disneyland to Alton Towers, Duxford to Cadbury’s World, Microscopy to Comic Art …. the list is too long to complete here.

All of the events will have been photographed and videos will have been taken. The Activity Week Website has been created to show you what has been happening.

Of course, you will need to be a member of ccfplus mail to view this closed website. Everyone at Christ’s College Finchley is already a member. If you do not know how to log in you can email Mr Longfield with your details.

For those who have no access, soon there will be a quick taster video here of some of the school based activities this week.
