LSE update
Lots of LSE related actvities have been happening recently. A team of LSE undergraduates have been visiting CCF on a weekly basis to mentor a selection of Year 11 students – who have found the help and advice given very useful.
We have had a team of students from the LSE Debating Club visiting the school to train Year 7 students in a debate workshop. A Metathink workshop – a philosophy based discussion about Science was enjoyed by 75 triple Science pupils.
The sixth form Charity Committee visited the student fund raisers at LSE, who were very impressed with the ideas and eagerness of the CCF students who attended.
There have been trips to LSE including, a Maths Day, an ACE HIGH workshop and three of our Year 9 forms have attended ACE Days at the university. Don’t worry – the other three forms will visit after the Easter holidays.
