Mornings

Pupils should not arrive on site before 8:20am.

The school buildings are closed to all pupils until 8:30am. Sixth Formers needing to come in earlier, and pupils who have appointments with teachers before this time should report to the front reception office.

We have adopted this policy for Health and Safety reasons as there is no pupil supervision before 8:30am. It also gives teachers and other staff time to prepare for the working day. In extremely inclement weather, pupils will be allowed in earlier.

Pupils who enter the buildings before 8:30am will be asked to leave.

Our school aims

The main aim of the school is to maximise the potential of every individual.  This is achieved through providing a community of students, staff, governors and parents which seeks to promote the academic, cultural, moral, physical and spiritual development of its members.

As a mathematics and computing specialist school we promote an ethos of lifelong learning both within the school and working with our community partners.  It is our belief that this will help develop responsible citizens who are equipped to cope with a rapidly changing technological world.

In a calm, respectful and tolerant atmosphere we work towards the development of well qualified young people, mature in outlook and actively concerned for the needs of others.
